Chris Dooros is entering his third season with the MSJ Lions baseball program as its assistant coach. Dooros will serve as as the Lions pitching coach, and will also serve as the recruiting coordinator.
During the 2024 season Coach Dooros helped freshman Matt Frye become the HCAC's Freshman of the Year award. While his pitching staff helped the team improve their record by 6 wins, earning a spot in the HCAC tournament for the first time since 2016.

Dooros joined the Mount's staff after extensive experience as a high school coach in the Cincinnati area. The relationships that he gained during his more than a decade in high school coach should serve Coach Dooros well in recruiting student-athletes to the Mount.

His most recent post has been the varsity assistant at Roger Bacon High School, where he worked with MSJ alum Tim McCoy. Previous to that he worked at Summit Country Day and spent 10 seasons at LaSalle High School. During his time at LaSalle he was the assistant varsity coach as well, while spending time as both the freshman and reserve head coach.

Outside of baseball Chris has been a religion teacher at LaSalle since 2014. He has also served as the head coach of the Cincinnati Hornets and is the founder of Pinnacle Baseball Training Academy.
