Chase Rich is entering his fourth season at The Mount, transitioning to his new role as Tight Ends coach in 2024 after a successful tenure as Co-Defensive Line coach. Previously, Coach Rich began his career with the Lions as the Running Backs Coach in 2021, where he made an immediate impact by placing Mariano McKenize on the HCAC Honorable Mention List.

During his time coaching the defensive line, Rich achieved notable success, including producing one HCAC Defensive Player of the Year, one Second Team All-Region selection, two First Team All-HCAC selections, and four Second Team All-HCAC selections. Rich played a crucial role in Noah Hammond's record-setting single-season sack achievement in 2022, with the defensive line tallying 29 sacks and earning the top spot in run defense that year.

In 2023, the Lions' defense, with Rich’s help, maintained its strong performance, ranking #2 overall in the HCAC and securing another impressive #2 ranking in rush defense.
