Justin Taylor embarks on his third season as Defensive Line coach for the Lions in 2024, continuing to foster remarkable success for Mount Saint Joseph's defensive front. Under Taylor's leadership, the Mount's defensive line has garnered multiple accolades, boasting one HCAC Defensive Player of the Year, one Second Team All-Region selection, two First Team All-HCAC selections, and four Second Team All-HCAC selections.

Taylor's impact was pivotal in 2022 when he guided Noah Hammond to set a single-season sack record. That season, under Taylor's leadership, the defensive line amassed 29 sacks and earned the top ranking in run defense.

In 2023, the Lions' defense sustained its excellence, achieving an overall #2 ranking and maintaining the #2 spot in rush defense within the HCAC. Taylor brings extensive playing experience to his coaching role, having competed on the defensive line at Ohio Northern University from 2017 to 2020.
