Scott Raber enters his second season as the defensive backs coach at Mount St. Joseph University in 2026.

In his first season at the Mount, Raber coached three All-HCAC defensive backs, including first-team selections Brady Pierce and Luke Fortkamp and second-team selection Miles Harding. Pierce also earned second-team All-Region honors. Under Raber’s guidance, the Mount’s defensive backs recorded 13 interceptions, which ranked tied for first in the HCAC.

Raber joined the Lions after serving as the graduate assistant and cornerbacks coach at Baldwin Wallace University. In 2023, he spent time at Western Michigan University as the assistant defensive backs coach, where he assisted with game planning, film breakdown, and scouting reports. Throughout his coaching career, Raber has coached three players who have gone on to play in the NFL: Kenih Lovely, Bilhal Kone, and Anthony Kendall.

Prior to his time at Western Michigan, Raber served as a student assistant coach at West Virginia University for two seasons, working closely with the safeties and special teams units.

Raber earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Coaching Education from West Virginia University and recently completed his master’s degree in Sport Management at Baldwin Wallace University.
