Yusuf Corker begins his inaugural season at Mount as the Defensive Backs Coach, bringing a wealth of experience acquired through a distinguished collegiate and professional career.

Corker, a standout safety from the University of Kentucky, redshirted his true freshman season but quickly made his mark as a reserve defensive back and special teams contributor during his redshirt freshman year. His dedication and perseverance earned him a starting position as a redshirt sophomore, where he led the Wildcats with 74 tackles. By his redshirt junior year, Corker's exceptional play was recognized with a second-team All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) selection.

In his senior season, Corker recorded 81 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and eight passes broken up. This stellar college career paved the way for his professional journey, beginning with his signing as an undrafted free agent by the New York Giants in April 2022. Corker also spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals.
