Shane Cleveland joined the Mount St. Joseph University women’s basketball program as an assistant coach after serving as a volunteer assistant during the 2024–25 season.

Cleveland brings a diverse background of collegiate coaching experience to The Mount. From 2019–2022, he was an assistant coach for the Earlham College men’s basketball program, where he was involved in recruiting, scouting, and player development. Prior to that, he began his coaching career as a student assistant coach at Thomas College in 2018, contributing to all facets of the program while completing his undergraduate degree. In 2022, Cleveland graduated from Earlham College with a master's degree in education. 

Passionate about player development and program culture, Cleveland is dedicated to helping student-athletes grow both on and off the court. He is excited to continue contributing to the success of the Lions.
