THE BASICS:
Mount St. Joseph (11-17, 4-4 HCAC) women's volleyball team rolled to a 3-1 victory against Anderson University (9-18, 1-7 HCAC) on Saturday afternoon to bring an end to the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Jessica Wilgenbusch had a kill to win the first set 25-16 and the team hit .237. A kill by Riley Brunner gave the Lions a win in the second set 25-21.
In set three, the Lions lost 25-19.
The final set, Hannah Losey had the kill to bring the Lions to the lead 8-7. The Lions won the set 25-21.
STANDOUTS: Wilgenbusch keyed the offense with 16 kills and eight digs in 53 attempts. Emily Bostian had 10 kills with a hitting percentage of .318. Taylor Ruder had a team-high 17 digs.
