BASICS
The Lions (5-4-1) defeated Bridgewater (Va.) in the first game 3-2, then defeated Beloit in the second game 7-5. The sweep allowed the Lions to finish their trip at 4-4, and moved the team to 5-4-1 on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1
The first contest of the day saw the Lions pitted against the Eagles of Bridgewater College, the game for the Lions was dominated by Paige Kiesewetter. Kiesewetter starred on the mound for the Lions as she pitched a complete game, giving up only 2 runs on 4 hits while striking out 8. She was also big at the plate as she drove in 2 runs. Morgan Hoehn had a good day at the plate as well going 2 for 3 and scoring two of the Lions 3 runs.
Game 2
The second game of the day was a much more offensive game, as the Lions and Buccaneers combined for 22 hits and 12 runs. The Mount again was able to come out on top in a 7-5 affair. Hoehn again was one of the standouts, as she went 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. It was a balanced offensive attack for the Lions, all but 8 of the 9 batters for the Lions had a hit in the game.

The Lions play host to Otterbein on Wednesday in a double header, with first pitch scheduled for 4 p.m.
