Mount St. Joseph (2-3-1) dropped both of their contests, one to Illinois College by a score of 5-1, and the second to Central College 8-3
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Game 1
Brianna Kauf suffered her first loss of the season in game one, giving up all 5 of runs that Illinois College was able to score.
Offensively the Lions were stifled by fantastic pitching, the were only able to plate 1 run on only 3 hits in the game.
Game 2
The Lions played from behind again in game two, as starting pitcher Paige Kiesewetter surrendered 8 earned runs in just 1.1 innings on the mound.
Offensively the Lions were better plating 3 runs on 6 hits, after struggling on the mound Kiesewetter was able to drive in two runs.
