ANDERSON, Ind.- The Mount St. Joseph women's volleyball team once again hit the road to take on an HCAC foe. They headed to Anderson University to take on the Ravens and return home with a 27-25, 25-15, 25-16 straight sets win.
Brooke Aselage led the way for the Lions offense with a match-high 14 kills, hitting .217.
Grace Young and
Morgan Whitaker each delivered seven kills, Young hit .250 while Whitaker hit .438. The setting duo of
Sam Buschur (16) and
Chloe Burton (17) combined for 33 assists in the match.
Defensively
Erin Androne continued her fantastic play as the Lions libero, leading the way with a match-high 16 digs. Aselage was second on the team with 13 digs.
Grace Wilking (8),
Carly Caldwell (6) and
Lauren Silbernagel (5) combined for 19 digs.
Up next the Lions will play host to Hanover College (11-9, 2-1 HCAC) on Wednesday the match is scheduled to begin at 7pm in the Harrington Center.
