#17 Women's Volleyball Keeps Rolling with Win Over Rose-Hulman

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The #17 Mount St. Joseph women's volleyball team overcame a rough first set, to take down Rose-Hulman and move to 2-0 in HCAC play. The Lions took the straigh sets win 28-26, 25-12, 25-21. The win moves the the Lions to 14-1 on the season and 2-0 in the HCAC this season. 

Grace Young was unreal in the match for the Lions with a match-high 15-kills on 22 attempts with only a single error, hitting an astronomical .636. Emma Sicking and Hannah Graves both added 8 kills to help the Lions to victory. Setter Jasmine Butler dished out 38 assists without a single setting error. Erin Androne led the defensive efforts with 20 digs, Graves added 14 as the only other Lion in double-figures. Once again the Lions were fantastic at the service line, with 8 aces Young, Graves and Grace Wilking all had a pair of aces in the match. 

The Lions will look to continue this run of success with a trio of matches next week, on Wednesday they will head to HCAC foe Earlham to take on the Quakers. Then on Friday night they will head to Wittenberg University where they will play Wittenberg and Carnegie Mellon.
