RICHMOND, Ind. - Over the weekend your Mount St. Joseph University men's golf team traveled to Richmond Elks Golf Course to compete at the Earlham Invitational. The Lions had a solid weekend on the course finishing in 4th out of 9 total teams.
Carter Stried led the way for the Lions this weekend. Stried finished Round 1 shooting a 78 and followed with an impressive Round 2. In Round 2, Stried shot a 74 bringing his total to 152 which tied him for 5th in the field. Cameron Lane also had a solid weekend on the course. The Senior led the Lions in Round 1, shooting a 76. In Round 2, Lane finished with a 83 bringing his total to a 159 on the weekend.
Matt Zinser started slow shooting a 85 in Round 1 but turned it around in Round 2. The Senior finished his weekend shooting a 76 to total a 161 for the weekend.
Dane Harker and
Aaron Palmisano rounded out the Lions lineup. The pairing finished with a 166 and a 174 respectively.
UP NEXT: Your Mount St. Joseph Lions are back in action on the weekend of Friday, May 5th. The Lions will travel to Belterra Golf Course to compete at the HCAC Championships.
