CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Mount St. Joseph women's basketball team remained perfect on the season, moving to 3-0 with a 74-55 win over Alma.
Anyiah Murphy led the way with 19 points to go along with 5 boards and 6 steals.
Karlee Mills added 14 points.Â
The Lions jumped out to a quick lead outscoring 25-16 in the first quarter. The second quarter was much closer with the Lions outscoring the Scots 18-16, heading into the halftime break leading 43-32.
In the third quarter the Lions stretched their lead out but a late 6-0 run by Alma kept them in the game. The Lions continued to pull away in the fourth, stretching the lead to a game-high 23-points at the 8:09 mark of the fourth.Â
