SHELBYVILLE, Indiana - The Mount St. Joseph men's and women's cross country team's were in Shelbyville, Indiana for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championship meet over the weekend.
On the women's side of the race it was once again
Amanda Zerhusen who led the way. The sophomore, who set a new school record in the 5k just a couple of weeks ago, finished six in the 6000m event. Her time of 23:11.62 was just over 30 seconds off the pace of the HCAC champion.
Sicilia Eshmann was the team's next finisher with a 46th place run and a time of 27:18.92. Kaylee Knapp rounded out the Lions competing with a time of 32:30.00.
On the men's side it was senior
Mitch Reveal leading the way, running a 29:26.40 in the 8,000m event. Just behind him were freshman
Logan Wright (30:46.68) and junior
Alex Taft (31:07.94). While freshman
Henry Bowman finished with a (33:09.58)
This wraps up the 2025 MSJ men's and women's cross country seasons, the Lions under the leadership of Adam Cokonaugher have a bright future ahead!
