Lions Dominate on Senior Day

Cincinnati, Ohio – It was a special day at the Harrington Center as Mount St. Joseph University celebrated seniors Anyiah Murphy, Madison Drummonds, and Kenady Hudson in a dominant performance against Earlham College.

From the opening tip, the Lions controlled the game, never trailing in a commanding 87-63 victory. The highlight of the night came from Karlee Mills, who reached a career milestone by scoring her 1,000th point in an incredible 26-point performance. She was joined in double figures by Murphy (19 points) and Drummonds (11 points).

Defensively, the Lions locked down Earlham, holding them to just 37% shooting from the field and 20% from beyond the arc. Mills led the rebounding effort with seven boards, while Drummonds and Hailey Guingrich made their presence felt with 11 rebounds each.

The Lions now turn their focus to their next matchup as they hit the road to face Rose-Hulman University on Wednesday, February 12th, in Terre Haute, Indiana.
