ANDERSON, Indiana - The Mount St. Joseph women's track and field team finished sixth at the 2025 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championships hosted by Anderson University.
The meet was chocked full of personal records and a new school record for the Lions. The distance medley team of
Julia Gooding,
Sicilia Eshman,
Emerson Pinger and Amanda Zerhuesen combined to run a school record 13:31.20.
Londyn Frazier earned a personal record in the long jump with a mark of 4.45m.
Madalyn Hudnall set a new school record in the shot put, with a 12.49m mark and set a new PR in the weight throw with a 13.68m. That number was good for the third best throw in school history.
Emerson Pinger ran a 1:03.27 in the 400 meter run, a new personal record and good for the third best mark in school history.
Julia Gooding rounded out the PRs for the Lions with a 2:29.85 in the 800m run, the fourth fastest time in school history.
Scoring points toward the team total for the Lions was started by Pinger, who earned two for her 7th place finish in the 400m.
They earned three points in the 800m run,
Anna Packer finished in 7th earning two points and Gooding finished 8th for another point.
In the 4x400 relay the group of Pinger, Gooding, Packer and Eshman finished in fourth earning five points. Pinger, Gooding and Eshman teamed with Zerhusen to finish second in the distance medley and earn eight points.
Josie Rigdon finished tied for fourth in the pole vault earning 4.5 points toward the team score.
Hudnall earned 10 points for the team, earning 6 for a third place finish in the shot put and 4 for a fifth place finish in the weight throw.
Sienna Slaughter also earned a point in the weight throw.
