That was the start of a three goal run for the Lions, Cole scored next off an assist from Jamie Turner and Jordan Wetmore scored unassisted to give them a 3-1 advantage. They would be outscored by Urusuline 4-0 over the final 10:17 of the first, allowing the Arrows to take a 5-3 advantage into the second.

To open the second the Mount scored the first two to tie the game at 5, with Turner and Young each finding the back of the net. Ursuline answered with two of their own before another Young goal drew the Lions within one with 8:11 to go in the half.
