BEREA, Kentucky - The Mount St. Joseph Track & Field team competed in the 2025 HCAC Championships over the weekend. As a team the Lions finished 7th in the event earning 40 points.
Madalyn Hudnall was the big story for the Lions, winning the HCAC Championship in the Javelin throw. The win earned the Lions 10 points toward the team total.
Julia Gooding got the Lions on the board with a three points in the 800m run, finishing in sixth place in the event.
The relay team of
Emerson Pinger,
Sicilia Eshman,
Olivia Forte and Gooding finished fourth in the 4x400. The group earned another five points toward the team total.
In the Pole Vault competition it was
Josie Rigdon who finished in fourth place earning five team points.
Londyn Frazier finished seventh in the Triple Jump which gave the team another two points.
Sienna Slaughter added eight points herself across two events. She finished third in the Hammer Throw, good for 6 points and seventh in the Discus for two points. Hudnall also finished fourth in the Hammer to added another five points.
