MEADVILLE, Pennsylvania. – The Mount St. Joseph University men's and women's golf teams turned in strong performances this week at the Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Memorial Invitational, hosted by Allegheny College at Meadville Country Club.
On the women's side, Debra Brogan led the way for the Lions, earning a top-10 finish with a two-day total of 159 to place 10th overall. Sara Kroger carded a 178 to finish 26th, while Liv Hoinke matched that score with a 178 of her own, placing 28th.
The men's team placed seventh overall in the team standings, highlighted by a strong showing from Ty Huber, who tied for 7th place with a two-day score of 148. Caden Perkins tied for 21st after posting a 153, while Carter Stried shot a 157 to secure 32nd place.
The invitational featured a competitive field of regional programs and provided an early-season test for both Lion squads.
The Mount's men's team will host the 2025 Stateline Shootout next weekend at Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Course. The women will have a week off before heading to Bluffton, Ohio for the Beaver Fall Classic Oct. 4th and 5th.
