NICHOLASVILLE, Kentucky - The Mount St. Joseph men's golf team hit the links at the Keene Trace Collegiate, hosted by Morehead State at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky. The Lions finished sixth in the stacked field, their event was highlighted by a hole in one by
Carter Stried on the 199 yard par 3 ninth hole in the second round.
Ty Huber led the way for the Lions in the event with a 36 place finish individually, in round one he carded a 6-over 78, and followed that up with 9-over 81 in round two.
Caden Perkins birdied his first hole of the event, finishing round one 5-over par with a 77, in the second round he shot an 83, finishing tied for 37th.
Stried was able to card three birdies in the first round of the event but overall shot a 13-over 85. He followed that up with a 6-over 78 that included the eagle one on the par three ninth.
Ethan Moorman (+27),
Seth Hegemier (+28) and
Ryan Palmisano (+30) rounded out the Lions lineup in the event.
