CARMEL, Indiana - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) announced the 2026 Men's Basketball All-Conference teams on Wednseday, the Mount St. Joseph Lions had a trio of players represented.
Senior
Matthew Menninger, junior
Jason Lavender and freshman
Cooper Ollis were all named as honorable mention all-conference selections. That group helped lead the Lions to a 14-12 overall record a 12-6 record in HCAC play and the #4 seed in the HCAC tournament.
Lavender was the team's leading socrer this season, averaging 11.2 points per game along with 4.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals. He scored a season-high 21 points on two occasions vs. Franklin at home and at Rose-Hulman. For the year he shot 47% from the field and 40% from three point range.
Menninger the Lions senior leader and captain, averaged 9.6 ppg, 4.9 rpg and 1.8 apg. He did so while shooting 49% from the field on the year and often guarding the oppositions top scoring option.
In his first season in Delhi, Ollis was a fantastic addition for the Lions. The freshman averaged 10.7 points and a team-high 5.0 rebounds per game. He scored a season-high 28 points in the Lions win over Manchester on January 24th.
