CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Mount St. Joseph men's basketball team placed two on the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District list.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Matthew Menninger is finishing a degree in Financial Economics here at the Mount and was a leader on the court for Coach Carrigan's Lions this season. The Cincinnati native averaged 9.6 points and 4.0 rebounds while leading the Lions to a 14-12 record and a 4th place finish in the HCAC this season.
Joe Brand is wrapping up his sophomore year at the Mount while double-majoring in Sport Management and Computer Science. In his second season Brand averaged 10.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists while shooting nearly 42% from three point range.
