CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Men's Outdoor Track & Field teams competed in week three of the 2026 season.
This week the Lions earned four HCAC Athlete of the Week awards in response to their outstanding performances.
Men's Jumps Athlete of the Week:
Chris Barrow (Cincinnati, Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Jumps | Sophomore -
Chris Barrow was the winner of the high jump over the weekend in a jump off. He is currently ranked 10th in the Great Lakes Region and leads the HCAC in the high jump with a mark of 1.92m.
Men's Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week:
Diego Yun (Cincinnati,Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Sprints | Junior -
Diego Yun won the 400m hurdles by resetting his personal best time to 54.30. His time is the best in the conference and the region. Also was runner up in the 100m dash and anchored the school record setting 4x100m relay team.
Women's Throws Athlete of the Week:
Sienna Slaughter (Louisville, Ky.) Mount St. Joseph University | Throws | Senior -
Sienna Slaughter won the hammer throw this past weekend. Her throw of 47.78m breaks her own school record, ranks second in the conference, and ranks fourth in the region.
Women's Distance Athlete of the Week:
Amanda Zerhusen (Cincinnati, Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Distance | Sophomore -
Amanda Zerhusen posted another school record this weekend. Her time of 17:57.16 is second in the HCAC and 15th in the Great Lakes Region. She finished ninth at the Oliver Nikoloff meet at the University of Cincinnati.
