Haarman's two free throws early in the second half allowed the Lions to take a 20-19 lead, and hold off the Fightin' Engineers the rest of the way to gain a split of the two-game season series. Haarman's 10 straight points gave the Mount a 30-21 advantage at the 16:21 mark and his accurate free throw shooting down the stretch kept Rose-Hulman from making a serious run at the Lions' lead.
