The Lions came out strong, ending the first quarter up 7 points. Ciera Phillips, however, dominated the boards, racking up 6 rebounds in the quarter.
From there, the Lions never gave the lead up the rest of the game. A Taylor Brown free throw extended the lead to 13 with 3:13 left in the game.
STANDOUTS
Phillips ended the game with a double-double, including 16 points and 12 rebounds. Meredith Hartfiel hit three from beyond the arc and ended with 13 points.
