THE BASICS
The Lions (4-11, 3-5 HCAC) fell to Earlham (4-11, 2-6 HCAC) 82-71 on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Brilyn Webb started out the game on fire as she made two three pointers. After the first quarter the Lions led 25-18.
The Lions could not find a stride offensively in the second quarter, getting outscored 23-8 to fall behind 41-33 at the half.
The Lions came back in the third quarter with a jump shot by Meredith Hartfiel to lead to 45-44, but it would be the final lead for the Lions in the game.
STANDOUTS
Webb led the Lions with 19 points and 4 rebounds while Hartfiel was right behind her with 17 points.
Erica Walsh had 15 points and Bristyl Webb finished with 11 points.
