HOW IT HAPPENED
A three point field goal by Erica Walsh ended the first quarter with the Lions down 20-12. Walsh led all scorers in the first quarter with 7 points.
Lainee Studer and Walsh start the second quarter with two layups allowing the Lions to stay in the game only trailing 20-16. Neither team could get much offense going in the second quarter with the Mount scoring just six points and the Beavers just 10.
The Lions cut the lead down to six in the third quarter, but the Beavers went on a 20 point run to end the quarter 52-29.
STANDOUTS
Walsh led the Lions with 14 points overall. Ciera Phillips followed behind her with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
