THE BASICS:
The Lions were in a tight game as the score stayed close. The Lions were able to take the lead going into the fourth quarter but came up short at the end of the game to lose 60 to 51
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Lions started off well. With lots of hustle plays, the Lions were able to keep the game close. The first quarter ended with the score of 15-13. The Lions continued to fight while Anderson outscored the Lions in the first half 27-24. Coming out of the locker room the Lions looked determined. Lainee Studer led the team in a huge third quarter comeback scoring 12 of the teams 17 points for the quarter. The Lions took the lead 41-40 going into the final quarter. Unfortunately, Anderson was able to stop the momentum of the Lions in the fourth quarter. The Lions were outscored 20-10 in the fourth quarter which gave Anderson the win with a final score of 60-51.
STANDOUTS:
Lainee Studer led the team scoring an impressive 34 of the Lions 51 points. She was able to keep her Lions in the game as she also led the team with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
