Box Score Saturday afternoon was senior night for the Lions as several of their players laced up their shoes for the last time in the Harrington Center. Although the Lions came out playing tough they got off to a slow start against the Grizzlies. Mount St. Joseph was unable to get any rhythm offensively in the first half despite playing great defense, causing Franklin to shoot just 33% from the field in the first quarter. Despite the tough defense the Lions would go into halftime down 37-19. The second half featured much of the same for the Lions as they were never truly able to go on a run to get themselves back into the game. Franklin would go on to win the game 68-43, taking down the Lions on their senior day.
