Box Score 2 CINCINNATI, Ohio—The Mount St. Joseph University Lions had another successful weekend of play, taking two wins in matches over Wabash. The Lions were able to take both games from Wabash in straight sets. This moves the Lions season record to 6-1, riding a 6 game win streak.
RESULTS
-The Lions won the first match on Saturday 3/6 by scores of 25-20, 25-7, 25-6.
-In the second game of the doubleheader the Lions won by scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-18.
NOTEABLES
-Senior Hayden Wood had an impressive day, leading the Lions in the first match with 15 kills and hitting .478. In the second game Wood had 9 kills while hitting .467.
-Junior Jack Spohn was able to help the Lions with 11 kills in the first game while hitting .688. The second game Spohn added 8 kills while hitting .538.
-Senior Jason Hascher had a standout performance in the second game of the doubleheader, leading the Lions in kills with 12, while hitting .611.
-Junior Rey Sanchez was able to total 35 assists in the first match and 33 assists in the second match of the day. Along with this Sanchez had 5 total kills in the second match of the game while hitting 1.000.
UP NEXT
