Richmond, Ind. – The Mount St. Joseph men's basketball team hit the road to take on the Earlham College Quakers, securing a commanding 88-72 victory after a hard-fought battle.
The Lions showcased a balanced offensive attack, with four players scoring in double figures. Luke Collinsworth, Matthew Menninger, Michael Loftis, and Elisha Jones led the way, demonstrating the team's depth and cohesion on offense. On the boards, Joe Brand was a force with 11 rebounds, while Collinsworth added nine, helping the Lions dominate the paint.
Earlham kept the game close through the first half and well into the second, but the Lions found another gear, outscoring the Quakers by 10 points after halftime to pull away. The team's execution on both ends of the floor highlighted their strong performance.
The Lions look to carry this momentum into their next game, as they host the Franklin College Grizzlies on Wednesday, December 18, at the Harrington Center.
