CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Mount St. Joseph women's basketball team has earned a spot in the 2025 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament and will host the Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers in the Harrington Center Saturday, February 22nd at 4:00 pm. The Lions earned the #2 seed in the tournament after posting an 18-7 overall record and a 13-5 record in HCAC games this season. Rose-Hulman enters as the #7 seed after finishing 9-9 in HCAC play. They were one of four teams to finish with that record, but due to the league's tiebreaker rules, they fell to the #7 seed.

The Lions won 7 of their last 8 games to close the regular season, while Rose-Hulman won their final two games to secure a tournament spot. Their most recent loss came at home to the Lions, 68-56, on February 12.
