The College of Mount St. Joseph moved up a spot in the Midwest Lacrosse Conference standings after winning at Carthage College, 12-11 in double-overtime on Saturday. Carthage was undefeated in conference play entering the game. Carthage jumped out to a 10-4 lead through three quarters of play but saw the Lions come back to post the win.
The Mount is now 6-5 on the season, and 4-1 in the MLC. They got four goals from Chris Uselmann (Carmel, IN/Westfield) and three scores from Anderson Morgan (Mason, OH/Moeller) against Carthage. The Lions are back in action on Apr. 20 when they host Otterbein College in a non-conference matchup.
