The Lions got goals from seven different players today, including three goals each from three different players as they rolled to a 15-10 win at home against MLC-foe AUrora University. The Mount, winners of three straight, go to 4-5 overall, and 2-1 in the MLC. They will be back in action on Apr. 9 when they host Concordia (WI) University in conference play.
Will McClanahan (Cincinnati, OH/Madeira), Ryan Gallagher (Chicago, IL/St. Rita), and Anderson Morgan (Mason, OH/Moeller) each scored three goals against Aurora. The Spartans led 6-5 at the half, but the Lions rode a 5-1 third quarter scoring outburst to go ahead, 10-7. Colin McSharar (Indianapolis, IN/Bishop Chatard) had 11 saves in goal for the Lions to post the win. Gallagher also chipped in three assists while Morgan collected two assists.
