Mount men's lacrosse team falls on road to MLC Preseason favorite Adrian College, 19-10

Host Adrian College, the MLC Preseason Coaches favorite, jumped out to a 6-0 lead and had an 11-4 advantage at the half, en route to a 19-10 win over the Lions today in conference action. The Mount, 0-2 overall, 0-1 in the MLC, is back in action on Mar. 7 when they play at Centre College.

Ryan Gallagher (Chicago, IL/St. Rita) scored a goal for the Mount in the third quarter, to cut the deficit to 12-7, but the Lions would get no closer as the Bulldogs scored five unanswered goals to put the game away. Anderson Morgan (Mason, OH/Moeller) led the Mount with four goals and an assist while Will McClanahan (Cincinnati, OH/Madeira) chipped in three goals and an assist. Chris Uselmann (Carmel, IN/Westfield) added a goal and two assists. Five different players scored goals for the Mount, who were out-shot 48-31, including 32-22 in shots on goal. Cody Nolan (Mason, OH/Mason) started and played the entire game in goal for the Lions, making 13 saves. Nine different Adrian players scored goals, with four players scoring three goals or more apiece.
