THE BASICS:
After finding themselves down a game, the Lions were nipping on the heals of the Panthers in game two but could not get the win losing 25-22. MSJ battled back, dominating the third game, 25-16. In game four, MSJ and HC went back-and-forth exchanging points until HC extended the lead to 16-11. MSJ would fight to tie the game 20-20 on a Briana Looney kill. HC would get back the lead and extend it to 24-22 before scoring the match point on an MSJ error, taking the match 3-1.
Jessica Wilgenbusch recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 17 digs. Briana Looney lead MSJ with 12 kills and 1 block. Cailey Clemmons and Riley Brunner would both finish with 9 kills while Lynsee Spatz finished with 43 assists, 13 digs, and 1 kill.
