THE BASICS
The Lions bounced back from their first loss of the season with an easy 13-3 win against Wittenberg University (2-3) thanks to a seven-run second inning to improve to 9-1 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lions racked on seven runs on 5 hits and one error in the second inning to jump out to a 7-0 lead. Zak Farmer had a bases-clearing triple in the inning to score three. Alex Wagner got his second win of the year to move to 2-0 as a starter.

STANDOUTS
Farmer had four RBI in the game, while Tyler Pasch and Nathan Hunter each added two.

UP NEXT
The Lions have a double-header with Lesley University on Saturday.
