Windholtz Leads the Lions to a 2nd Place Finish at the Bluffton Invitational

BEAVERDAM, Ohio - Over the weekend your Mount St. Joseph University women's golf team competed at the Bluffton Invitational. The Lions finished in 2nd Place with a score of 323 trailing just Ohio Northern in the field of 8 different teams.

Patricia Windholtz was the Lions top finisher on the weekend. Windholtz led the way for The Mount finishing in 7th Place while shooting a 79.

Following Windholtz was Sophomore Alyssa Haverstraw who finished 8th while shooting a 80. Sophomore Amy Smith also put together a solid weekend finishing 9th, shooting a 81 on the weekend.

Sophomore Taylor Anderson and and Freshman Emma Winland rounded out the field for the Lions. The pair finished T-12 & T-15th while shooting 83 & 84 respectively. 

UP NEXT: Your Mount St. Joseph women's golf team is back in action on April 15th & 16th when they travel to Louisville, Ky. to compete at the Spalding Invitational.
