MEADVILLE, Pennsylvania - The Mount St. Joseph women's golf team traveled to the Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Invitational and returned home as the runner-up in their second consecutive tournament. For the second week in a row there was a school record set by the Mount. Freshman
Debra Brogan fired in an even par 71 in the second round of the event to set a new 18-hole school record.
Alyssa Haverstraw once again led the way for the Mount, finishing tied for second overall. She carded an opening round 76 and followed that up with a second round score of 73, for two day total of 149. Brogan was the second highest Lion, finishing fourth overall with a two round score of 153.
Amy Smith also finished in the top-10 of the event, a two day total of 156 had her finish in 8th place.Â
As a team they finished with a two day total of 628.
