CARMEL, INDIANA – The Mount St. Joseph University men's soccer team finished the season with a 6-10-3 overall record, going 4-3-2 in HCAC play. After starting the season 0-6-1, the Lions bounced back to close out the year with a 6-4-2 run. The Mount placed fifth in the regular season standings and qualified for the HCAC Tournament, where they fell on the road to Bluffton University. Four Lions earned All-HCAC honors for their performances this season.
Brady Diedenhofer earned First Team All-HCAC honors after scoring 8 goals and recording 1 assist on the season. In conference play, he netted 7 goals in 9 matches, including 2 game-winners. Diedenhofer was a major threat on corner kicks, scoring multiple header goals throughout the year. He was one of only three Lions to appear in all 19 matches this season.
Brennan Lewis and Mohit Naphray earned Second Team All-HCAC honors. Lewis led the Mount offensively, scoring 9 goals and recording 1 assist on the season, including 4 goals in 6 conference matches with 1 game-winner. Naphray contributed 2 goals and 5 assists overall, adding 1 goal and 4 assists in 8 conference matches. Michael Smith was named Third Team All-HCAC, anchoring the midfield, leading the Mount's defense, and providing an offensive spark with 2 assists on the year.
