DANVILLE, Kentucky - The Mount St. Joseph track and field program sent its throwers to the Centre College Twilight meet on Friday night.
On the women's side
Sienna Slaughter finished second in the hammer throw, with a mark of 41.65m. The throw was a new school record besting a mark set by Slaughter just a couple of weeks ago.
Madalyn Hudnall finished just behind Slaughter in third place with a mark of 41.43m. Hudnall was the winner of the event in the javelin throw, with a school record 37.47m mark.Â
Asia Branch finished 14th in the Shot Put with a mark of 8.72m. She also finished 9th in the discus throw with a mark of 29.02m, while Slaughter finished 11th at 26.64m.
On the men's side
Jack Tucker's performance in the hammer throw led the way. He finished first with a personal best 51.68m.Â
Dylan Sebastian put together a personal record performance in the javelin throw as well. He finished in fourth place with a 43.97m mark.
Camden King finished in 14th place in the shot put, with an 11.60m throw.Â
UP NEXT:
The Lions throwers as well as the rest of the team will compete at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships. That meet is scheduled for April 25-26 in Berea, Kentucky.Â
