CARMEL, Indiana – In a vote among league coaches, the Mount St. Joseph University men's soccer team was picked to finish seventh in the 2025 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) season.
The Lions enter their second season under the leadership of coach
Anthony Clark. They return alot of talent from last season, and expect their offseason additions to make an immediate impact. Senior
Michael Smith and sophomore
Mohit Naphray were tabbed as players to watch for the 2025 season. Smith led the Lions in minutes last year, playing 1474 with a pair of assists. Naphray tied for the team lead with five goals.
Other returns expected to make an impact include
Brady Diedenhofer,
Nathaniel Knuth,
Eric Slavey and Derick Rolfes. Their are 12 new players entering their first season in the blue and gold looking to make an immediate impact!
The Lions will open their 2025 season on August 29 at Schueler Field, welcoming the Wilmington Quakers to Cincinnati.
