CARMEL, INDIANA — The Mount St. Joseph men's soccer team has been picked to finish sixth in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference standings in the league's annual preseason coaches' poll, released today.
The Lions enter the 2026 season returning three All-HCAC selections from 2025, including Brady Diedenhofer (First Team), Brennan Lewis (Second Team), and Mohit Naphray (Second Team). The trio combined for 45 total points last season, with Lewis leading the team with nine goals and Diedenhofer finishing second with eight. Naphray recorded the second-most assists on the team with five.
Presley Boyle, JT Roden, Collin Schneeman, and Aidan Sweeney were named "Other Players to Watch" by the HCAC for the 2026 season. Boyle recorded six goals and two assists last season, while Schneeman and Sweeney look to lead the defense. Roden, a newcomer, is expected to make an immediate impact for the Mount.
The Lions will open the 2026 season on Wednesday, September 2, welcoming the University of Cincinnati Clermont Cougars to Schueler Field.
