MSJ Wrestling Competes at Regional Championships

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio - The Mount St. Joseph wrestling team traveled to John Carroll over the weekend to take part in the 2026 NCAA Division III Region 5 Championships.

Freshman Xavier Woods was the teams lone placer in the event, finishing eighth in the event at 149 lbs. In his first regional championships, Woods went 2-3 to secure that eighth place finish.

Two other Lions won matches in the event as Brayden Kuhling went 1-2 at 165 and Cahiel Linton went 1-2 at 141. 

With this the 2026 season wraps up for the MSJ wrestling program.
